We couldn’t help but root for Calliope and Juliette to end up together regardless of their distinct differences and backgrounds. The casting was truly spot on and the acting was very believable. Rising actors Imani Lewis and Sarah Catherine Hook play the roles of Calliope and Juliette, respectively.
Throughout the season, we see the unlikely pair’s love story play out, and it’s not surprising that they experience several ups and downs along the way. The eight-episode first season introduced viewers to a young vampire and monster slayer (Juliette and Calliope) who finds themselves falling in love even though they’re forbidden to be together.

The judges will then announce the top ten spoilers at a public “ Awards Ceremony” in late October. The panel will review the nominations for each category and select the top spoiler of each of the 10 categories. In stage three, researchers will pass the vetted nominations onto a panel of judges. In stage two, a team of researchers will vet these nominations based on the “awards” categories, set submission criteria, and the strength of the evidence provided. The deadline for submissions is 13th October. Nominations should make the case for why each individual or entity deserves to be singled out as a spoiler of peace based on credible evidence and set submission criteria. In stage one, participants will submit “ nominations” for individuals and entities involved in severe violations in Yemen across 10 different categories. Peace will never be fully realised if there is no justice for the crimes committed in Yemen. It seeks to reinforce the aims of Yemeni and international civil society organizations calling for inclusion and justice to be at the heart of resolving Yemen’s conflict. This campaign is a step towards breaking the cycle of impunity in which these individuals, parties, governments and businesses have traditionally found shelter. They use their influence to ensure that Yemenis prepared to build peace remain outside of negotiations, looking in. Those who continue the war for power and profit feel little pressure to embrace genuine negotiations and cease their human rights violations. The SPOILERS OF PEACE CAMPAIGN is a participatory human rights campaign, aiming to pressure those who have committed violations, spoiled peace talks, and profited from war in Yemen, whilst taking comfort in the fact that the conflict is too confusing, or its suffering too great, for them to be held accountable.ĭespite renewed efforts to end Yemen’s conflict, peace still seems remote.
